Note for 2nd Gen iPod shuffle: You can hook up your 2nd Gen iPod shuffle using the included 3.5mm audio cable to play your shuffle. This unit will also charge your 2nd Gen iPod shuffle but you need to hook it up with the dock that came with your iPod shuffle. So you can charge and play your 2nd Gen iPod shuffle with this unit, but you cannot charge and play your 2nd Gen iPod shuffle at the same time.
