iPod2Car is the ultimate in iPod car integration. You can now get CD quality sound with your factory stereo and control your iPod with your steering wheel controls and the radio controls. iPod2Car will also keep your iPod charged and powered.

High quality audio through your factory car radio
Compatible with many factory car stereos, iPod2Car retains the high quality audio by directly connecting your iPod to the CD changer input of the stereo, usually found in the back of the radio. Then you simply plug the cable into the Dock Connector on the bottom of your iPod or iPod mini. The one connection provides line audio output and charges your iPod.

The nice thing about the connection besides the high quality of the audio, is that you can control your iPod with the controls on your radio, just like a CD changer. You can even use your steering wheel controls if you have them. So now you will be able to change the track, forward or back with ease.

Unlike some other car solutions, iPod2Car does not disable the controls or display of your iPod, so you will still be able to view track details and playlist information on your iPod. You will still be able to control the iPod with its controls in addition to your radio controls.

Simple installation
Some of the manufacturers it is compatible with include: Audi, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Eagle, Ford, GM/GMC, Honda, Hummer, Jeep, Lincoln, Mercury, Oldsmobile, Plymouth, Pontiac, Saturn, Toyota, and Volkswagen.

iPod2Car installs easily in most vehicles. The harness gets connected to the CD changer input of the factory stereo and the box is hidden behind the radio or dashboard. Then run the dock connector cable, which is approximately 12 feet long, through to where you want to connect the iPod.

Please note: Although in most applications, iPod2Car is easy to install, it usually requires removal of dash panels and the factory radio. If you feel as though this will be difficult for you to accomplish, or if your particular vehicle is challenging, we recommend that you go to experienced car stereo installers in your area who could install the iPod2Car for low cost in a very short time.

Most factory radios equipped with in-dash CD changers (multiple discs) may not accomodate an external CD changer and so the iPod2Car cannot be connected to these radios. Although some can, for example, we have seen successful installations in Toyota's with multi-disc in-dash head units. We recommend verifying an external CD changer can be connected to your head unit before ordering.
